Course objectives: Students need to acquire expertise in the analysis and evaluation of theoretical approaches to consideration of giftedness and empirical findings on the issue, to train for a competent choice or self-creation of adequate programs of working with talented people

Course description: A. Analysis and evaluation of traditional and modern conceptions of giftedness: defining criteria and problems in the conceptualization of giftedness B. Comprehensive consideration of the nature, development and ways of expressing certain types of talent (in the academic, artistic and sporting field) C. Analysis and evaluation of different models of identification and education of talented persons

Learning Outcomes: Student has a large fund of knowledge about giftedness in various domains; shows sensitivity for fundamental academic and practical problems of Gifted Psychology and knows how to choose and design the most appropriate ways to investigate and solve these problems
