Philosophy of Logic I

Pre-requisites: none

Course objectives: A student should get acquainted with some important philosophical problems concerning logic and the foundations of mathematics as well as with some parts of logic that are especially interesting from the philosophical point of view.

Course description: Logics of first and second order, modal logic, computability theory etc.

Learning Outcomes: A student who has mastered this material will be able to appreciate philosophically interesting mathematical problems from the standpoints of modern achievements.
