Course objectives: The objective of this course is to equip students to understand and use texts in which basic statistical analysis using two or more variables is employed, and to learn how to apply methods of statistical analysis and interpret the given results.

Course description: Through this course, students will be introduced to basic methods of analyzing statistical data and will use procedures from statistics to research relationships between social and sociological phenomena. At the end of this course, students will have gained knowledge of the multivariate nature of social phenomena and be familiar with a few methods used for discovering and analyzing latent variables.

Learning Outcomes: After completing the exam in this course, students will be equipped for understanding and using texts in which methods are employed using bivariate and multivariate statistics, as well as learning how to manipulate and analyze empirical data using statistical methods.
