Course objectives: Students go through the whole research process in social psychology, from mapping the problem to writing up the research report and build competencies for independent research.

Course description: Experimental and correlational research. Qualitative and quantitative research. Traditional research techniques: questionnaires, surveys, attitude measurements, observational and content analysis, network analysis. Novel research techniques: implicit attitude measurement, internet research, social network analysis, experience sampling etc. The course is complemented with courses Social perception and interaction and Socialisation and optional course Applied social psychology.

Learning Outcomes: Project writing, research design, results analysis and reporting. Various research techniques.
