Course objectives: The aim of this course is to develop and expand theoretical knowledge and concepts arising from career guidance theories and their applications in individual counseling and organizational context.

Course description: The concept and types of careers, career development, approaches to career development and professional choice in contemporary conditions of globalization, transition, job insecurity and unemployment. Understanding career theories and techniques and their application in counseling. Strategies, goals, techniques and programs of educating, training and mentoring in career guidance process and counseling of different populations. Career development in organizations.

Learning Outcomes: Understanding of concepts, theories and techniques that are used in career management; mastering the basic intervention skills concerning career information, counseling and development.
