Course objectives: Understanding the particularities of the world of work and education, issued as the result of their interdependence, acquiring knowledge of types and strategies of professional adult education and skills development for installing their organisational foundation with optimal combination.

Course description: Theoretical course: Work andragogy as a discipline of adult education. Interdependence of work and education in historical perspective. Work characteristics in informatical society. Market in the field of vocational education in Serbia. Types of vocational education. Strategies of vocational education. Unemployment and vocational education of adults. Calling, profession, occupation, vocation. Practical course: Creating an educational tender related to the work sphere, considering the different individual and situational characteristics. Monitoring and assessment of vocational education programme realization.

Learning Outcomes: Students will: know the subject and the research domain of work andragogy and categorical concepts related to types and strategies of vocational education; understand the interdependence between work and education; know to set organizational foundations for different types of vocational adult education.
