Course objectives: - Knowledge and understanding of contemporary theories and research on cognitive development - To improve the skills of critical analysis of contemporary theories and research on cognitive development - To improve skills of studies design of cognitive development

Course description: In the course, students will critically analyze contemporary theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of cognitive development (by choice), problems being explored within these approaches, theories that explain the findings, as well as a set of methods and techniques used in research within selected approach.
