Course objectives: The adoption of advanced concepts, information and methodological skills. Adoption of appropriate academic skills (presentations, writing papers). Application of acquired knowledge in solving problems in practice. Critical evaluation of the content of technical and scientific production

Course description: 1. Generators of individual differences, their taxonomy and endophenotypes. 2.Modern methods in the study of individual differences, 3. Evolution and individual differences, 4. Behavioral activation system (extraversion), 5. The system of behavioral inhibition (fear, anxiety, neuroticism) and control reactions to stress, 6. The system for the control of reaction attacks (aggression)7. The disintegration of regulatory functions (psychoticism, schizotypal), 8. The system of behavioral flexibility / rigidity, 9. g-factor, group factors and metacognition, 10. Self-concept and self-evaluation, 12. Executive functions and memory, 12. Genetic / environmental determination of behavior Practical classes: advanced use of psychological measuring instruments, data processing, student presentations, research work (draft construction, field work, standards of scientific work writing), construction of psychological measuring instruments (tests, inventories, scales), discussion groups

Learning Outcomes: Adopted advanced concepts, information and methodical funds. Advanced use and capability of construction of measuring instruments. Ability of qualified oral and written argumentation. The ability of critical evaluation of scientific / technical content.
