Course objectives: Student will get acquainted with a peculiar sense of philosophical culture, its basic dimensions and issues and particularly with the problems of philosophical anthropology.

Course description: Introduction to philosophy through the ideas of rationality, its relation to the plots of critical reflection and self-reflection, and its importance for understanding the problems of education. In this context, it is considered the relationship of education to: the dialectics questionable; distinction between theoretical and practical life; traditions, institutions, enlightenment and (rational) authority; relations between knowledge and power; scientific knowledge and the imperatives of modern technological development: the legacy of humanistic and critical culture.

Learning Outcomes: Understanding the processes of critical reflection, mastering possibilities to look at specific problems (psychology, pedagogy, andragogy)in the broader context of meaningful.
