Course objectives: Becoming familiar with different aspects of cognitive functioning and the mechanisms which underlying cognitive processes and functions. Upon completion of the course, the student will have an overview of basic issues in cognitive psychology, ...

Course description: ?. Functions of different memory domains in cognitive information processing (sensory, operational and long-term memory), b. Cognitive aspects of language, c. Higher cognitive processes (judgement, reasoning, decision making, problem solving), d. A brief overview of neural basis of cognitive processes and functions.

Learning Outcomes: After passing the exam, the student should possess a critical understanding of basic cognitive phenomena and processes.
