Pre-requisites: Passing the exam Introduction to Clinical Assessment.

Course objectives: Acquiring knowledge about different methods of clinical assessment, their history and development, assets and limitations. Introducing students to the practical application of the methods of clinical assessment.

Course description: Theoretical instruction: Case study. Clinical interviewing. Behavioral assessment. Behavioral observation. Wechsler intelligence scales. Minnesota multiphasic personality inventory (MMPI). Projective techniques and projective hypothesis. The theory of projective psychology. Thematic apperception test (TAT). Unfinished sentences test. Projective drawings. Rorschach method. Neuropsychological assessment. Practical instruction: Practical classes, Other forms of instruction, Course research work, Practicing clinical methods in class. During internship the student is due to conduct several investigations using some of the methods of clinical assessment (clinical interview, VITI, MMPI) on members of non-clinical and clinical populations and document them with assessment protocols.

Learning Outcomes: Practical usage/administration of the instruments in clinical setting to members of different clinical populations.
