Course objectives: Developing the students ability to understand the continuous and systematic monitoring and analysis of the process and results of school work as a prerequisite for improving school practice.

Course description: Theoretical course: The function and importance of research work in school practice. Analysis and research of school practice as a process of systematic monitoring and analysis of the implementation and results of school work. The place and role of research projects of the practitioners. The role of professional associates and teachers in the initiation and realization of researches in the school. Characteristics of researches of the practitioners. Application possibilities of different research techniques and instruments in research activities at school. Practical course: Elaboration and implementation of a research project in school practice and development of action plan aimed at changing the school practice based on the results of the study.

Learning Outcomes: Students have knowledge about the function and characteristics of the research work in school practice.
