Course objectives: Training students for understanding the nature, functions and perspectives of education system development in European countries, and assumptions of integrating the educational system in Serbia into European educational space.

Course description: Comparative review of developmental state, ways of functioning and development directions of educational systems in European countries. Positioning the educational system reforms on the results of evaluative educational research. Basic reform trends of educational system and key segments of changes in the field of education in European countries. Indicators of developed educational policy as the element of developed educational system. Scope of work of international professional institutions in the field of education. Themes and results of international projects in the domain of determining the unique state and development indicators of educational system and evaluation of educational effects. Assumptions of integrating the educational system in Serbia into the unique educational space of Europe.

Learning Outcomes: Post graduates have profound knowledge about: - the characteristics and determinants of educational system development in European countries; - the problems of educational system development in Serbia and assumptions of its integration into the unique educational space of Europe.
