Methodology of ethnology and anthropology (study design, field research, archival research, media analysis, repeated surveys)

Pre-requisites: No specific requirements. Common preconditions regulated by statute, rule books and the like.

Course objectives: The goal is to acquaint the students with the basics of the methodology of scientific information in ethnology and socio-cultural anthropology: design research, the basis of field research, the basics of archival work, analysis of the media and repeated or controlled research.

Course description: Design research. Basis of field work. Working in the archives. Analysis of the media. Repeated research.

Learning Outcomes: Students who successfully complete the course are able to design research and then carry it out in through relevant techniques and methods adapted for their specific thesis topic.
