Course objectives: The goal of course is to acquaint students with the possibilities of use of anthropology in modern society and with the "classic" period of applied anthropology (anthropology in the service of colonial and state government, as well as action anthropology).

Course description: The first semester is devoted to the history and fundamental principles of applied anthropology, while in the second semester the possibility of using anthropological knowledge in different areas of society (industry, law, medicine, etc.), will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes: The outcome of attendance from this course is the student’s capacity for critical and analytical approach to the aforementioned issues.
