Course objectives: Enabling students to master the theoretical and methodological apparatus of scientific information relevant to nonverbal communication, and introducing students to the theoretical and methodological tools of scientific explanations of nonverbal communication.

Course description: Theoretical lessons: 1. Defining a classification and fundamental forms of physical non-verbal communication 2. Previous approaches to the study of nonverbal body communication 3. Gestures 4. Sign Language 5 Corporal spatial behavior 6 Cultural determining the expression of the affective

Learning Outcomes: Setting the basis for the conceptual and practical elaboration for the possible application of knowledge in terms of developing cultural expertise in cross-cultural studies, for an enhanced comprehension of other cultures.
