Course objectives: Knowing in detail the conditionals, and the ability to apply that knowledge when translating some text; the ability to recognize different ways of saying the same syntax matter; recognizing stylistics of the text one works on.

Course description: Systematizing the conditionals, systematizing the verbal syntax, indirect speech, basics of metrics in Latin language. Reading, lexical and syntactic analysis of longer fragments of Roman authors texts, reading the poetry (hexameter...)

Learning Outcomes: The ability to read, comprehend, translate and interpret texts of Roman authors.
