Pre-requisites: Enrolled to M.A. studies, basic knowledge of Latin or Ancient Greek language.

Course objectives: Acquainting with the development of Christianity under Roman Empire, with emphasis on central Balkan.

Course description: Sources of acquiring knowledge on early Christianity under the Roman Empire (Eusebius, Lactantius; the development and organization of Christian church in Mid Balkans with emphasis on Sirmium (4th century);Persecution of Christians; Translation and commentary of writings.

Learning Outcomes: Knowledge of the development of the Christianity (1st-4th century)according to writings.
