Course objectives: Acquainting students with most important writers and types of Greek and Roman literature - making of literary theoretical, literary historical and literary critical knowledge and preparation of students for independent dealing with literary works.

Course description: The course consists of two courses which are followed during two semesters: 1. history of Antic literature, 2. Basics of theory of Antic literature.

Learning Outcomes: Enabling students for critical reading of works of Antic literature; acquiring basic knowledge in History of Antic literature and literary theory.
