Course objectives: Acquiring knowledge on multilingualism of people in Rome and Roman Empire, on influence other languages (esp. Greek) had on people who speak Latin in every day language manner and on higher language register.

Course description: Reading and interpreting text in which bilingualism of authors can be found: engravings, private letters, literary works.

Learning Outcomes: The ability to recognize and interpret influences of other languages on Latin, on lexical, morphological, phonetic and syntactic level.
