Pre-requisites: Enrolled to 7th semester, previous knowledge of classical literature and Latin language.

Course objectives: Acquainting with Roman literature, its authors, works, specifics and values.

Course description: Authors and works of Roman literature, historical context and theoretical aspects of ancient Rome literature, literary study and literary critics in Romans. Practical application of knowledge and acquired facts on selected texts.

Learning Outcomes: Going over lessons learned, systematizing and widening knowledge in Roman literature, comprehension of phenomena of Roman and classical literature in full and their connection along literary historical, literary theoretical and other principles.
