Pre-requisites: The knowledge of foreign languages and approved sense for scientific work.

Course objectives: Enabling of students to recognize and interpret finds of early medieval material culture by themselves.

Course description: Overview, classification and analysis of finds of early medieval material culture. Morphological and technological analysis of small finds from all spheres of human activities. The study of manufacturing centers for diverse types of finds, the courses of their expanding, as well as their role in the acculturation process.

Learning Outcomes: Students enabled to recognize and interpret finds of early medieval material culture by themselves.
