Course objectives: Introducing students to measurement methods of bones and teeth, interpretation of acquired data, methods of determining diversity, association and a variety of methods for quantitative archaeozoology.

Course description: Methodology for collecting, sorting and housing archaeozoological material during archaeological excavations; Morph metric methods and quantifying methods for archaeozoology; Naming of skeletal elements their side and orientation; Taxonomic classification; Morph metrics; Determining individual age of different animal species; Determining the sex of different animal species.

Learning Outcomes: Attendance, midterm examination and written examination.
