In 1962, the Pedagogy Study Group became promoted into the Pedagogy Department, within which two study groups were initiated in 1979 - Pedagogy Study Group and Andragogy Study Group.

The Andragogy Study Group offers graduate, master and doctoral programs based on various general and specific issues concerning learning and education of adults.

At present, the Andragogy Study Group enrolls about 200 students while the teaching staff employs 7 professors and 5 assistants.
